Change concerning production of these threads which are packed by five bobbins has occured. Paper bobbins are replaced by plastic ones. Moreover, coil was shortened from 500m to 400m. Cotton threads "TRIANA" there is a change of colour tones according to new issued colour card. New number set of colour tones matches the other types of produced threads - e.g. ASPO, BELFIL.
Mercerized cotton is treated by so-called merceration, when the gloss is increased by the action of sodium hydroxide while the fibers are stretched. Such cotton is not only shinier, but also softer, firmer, color fast, has brighter colors and is more resistant to abrasion and shrinkage.
