We have tried: The curtain tape has plastic connectors on the reverse side, which already determine the density of the folding. When calculating consumption for curtains, we must determine at the outset whether the curtain will be functional (retractable) or decorative (will not be retracted). Since the width of the curtain should exceed the curtain by about 10 cm, we must also add this dimension to the consumption. We measure the total width that we want the curtains to cover (window, width of the entire space from wall to wall, etc.). Most of the range of fabrics for curtains has a width of 150 cm, and if we want a functional - curtain with folds, we add at least half an extra width. We determine also the height of the curtain and don't forget to add seam allowances.
