It has two pockets under the flap , they close with a zipper. The flap has a magnetic closure. Inside the backpack there is also a small zipped pocket for small valuables. The ear is firm , short enough to fit in the hand or hang. The straps are long enough and adjustable for comfortable use throughout the day.
