We have tried: We painted two masks. We used acrylic paint 840517 for the first mask. It painted very well, the paint dried quickly and did not smudge. We colored the second mask with pencils and applied the same acrylic color 840517 to them. The color covered the pencils perfectly. We can recommend acrylic paints and pencils, they are excellent for painting these masks.
