Use: Elastic is most often inserted into garments to the waist or under the bust to dress, so it holds better on the spot, eg. in pants, dresses, etc.
It is soft in tension.
We have tried: We washed the elastic at the temperature specified by the supplier. After washing, 1 m of elastic shrank by 2%. During the next test, we steamed the elastic with an iron and after ironing it shrank 8% on 1 m. That is why it is important to take account of shrinkage before cutting and sewing the elastic.
