We have tried: With this reinforcement, we tested whether it holds its shape and does not curl in the petticoat of a skirt or dress. We sewed the petticoat, threaded the reinforcement into the petticoat and secured it. The sewn petticoat held the shape of the circle beautifully and the reinforcement did not twist in any way.
