Description

Elastic, also often called rubber, has a width of 50 mm and a smooth surface. Its particular advantage is that it keeps its stable shape and that is made of soft material. Most often elastic is inserted into clothing to the waist . Elongation 110%.

We have tried: We washed the elastic at the temperature specified by the supplier. After washing, 1 m of elastic shrank by 2%. During the next test, we steamed the elastic with an iron and after ironing it shrank 8% on 1 m. That is why it is important to take account of shrinkage before cutting and sewing the elastic.
